I wash my car on a self service car wash and the car is still dirty, why!?

I wash my car in self service car wash place and after washing my car is still dirty. Is there a better way to wash my car, because I don't have a driveway, I live in a apartment complex.I wash my car on a self service car wash and the car is still dirty, why!?
There's a technique to use. Start at the top and work your way down; that eliminates streaks. Use the high-pressure soap, after first wetting the entire car, then use the sudsing brush. Use the high-pressure rinse to get the soap off (and check for missed areas). Last do the wheels, being careful not to get a lot of overspray on the car's body. If necessary, rinse, using gentle spray and lastly wax it using the power-wax option. Make sure the car body is cool to the touch and don't wash it in direct sunlight.

Here in Texas, that costs about$4.50 in quarters (initial turn-on is $ 2.00; then the other services are used by adding quarters as necessary).

If you're still not satisfied, ask a friend who owns a house if he'd let you borrow the garden hose for forty-five minutes and do it at his house (again, start at the top).

Since you don't want to use the brush, you'll have to bring a sponge and a bucket with you, which most self-serve places frown upon, and fill the bucket with sudsy water and do the entire car by hand. (Don't hog the bay where the car washing is done; wet the car, drive it to another area, use the sponge, then return to the bay and hose it off well).I wash my car on a self service car wash and the car is still dirty, why!?
wash it there still.first wet the car with the water(rinse) cycle. then put soapy spray on it(wash cycle).then ust the foamy brush.spray entire car with clear water the to be extra sure use the wash and then rinse cycle!
Go to a hardware store %26amp; buy a five gallon bucket with a lid and the lid lifter. Fill at home nearly full with hot water.Get roll of quarters. At car wash spray off as much dirt as possible with complete rinse, wash, rinse again cycle ( no brush). Now add good amount of car wash sop to bucket %26amp; sponge down vehicle top to bottom keeping wet the whole time. Assistant may be used to rinse as you go.Then spray wax %26amp; wash weekly. You apparently have a build up of waxed over grime.
Take your car to a better carwash. One with clean water and clean brushes. Spray the car down first and try to get as much dirt off b4 you start to soap it up with the brush. Start at the top and work down with the brush. Try to go in straight lined as to avoid swirl marks. Rince the car and then take a good look at it. Repete if nessary.
If this is an automatic car wash or even a semi-automatic type, you are washing your car with recycled water. Some of these places do not even filter the water prior to re-use.

Try another car wash and see if you get better results. If you don't, drive through the drier fast so you can park the car while it is still wet. Next you want to use Eagles Wax as you Dry with some clean cloths, following instructions on the spray bottle. You will now have a clean and waxed auto.

Or, drive around and find a school group washing cars on week-ends. They will be washing your car with soap and water out of a bucket. You will be helping the group earn money and get to look at the hunky guys or skimpily clad girls, which ever you prefer.
Not to be rude, but in the self-service car wash, is there a switch to click to ';Soap'; and ';Rinse'; etc? I'm just thinking maybe you go there and have the switch set to ';Rinse'; rather than ';Soap';, which just wets the car down with no soap coming out of the spray nozzle. Just a thought.
You have to do MORE than JUST put quarters in the slot ! ! !

You also have to use the foam brush; and then use the soap spray.

Finally use the Rinse Spray
Why not go through the automatic car wash. The water is high powered and gets all the dirt. The cheapest setting is still good if you're on a tight budget.
